The Mijas Town Hall, through its Cemeteries Department, has announced that the opening hours of the La Purísima municipal cemetery have been extended to mark the All Saints' Day holiday on November 1st.

The cemetery will be open from 9:00 to 20:00 hours until the 31st, while on the 1st of November it will be open from 8:00 to midnight, and on Sunday 2nd of November from 8:00 to 20:00 hours. The aim is to make it easier for the public to visit this municipal facility.

In addition, a commemorative mass is scheduled to take place in the chapel at 17:30 hours on the 1st, after which the parish priest Marcel Lunar will carry out the traditional blessing in the cemetery.

Shuttle bus

A special shuttle bus service has been arranged from the El Puerto quarry to the cemetery. On the 31st of October, the service will run from 9:00 to 19:30 hours, on the 1st of November from 9:00 to 21:30 hours and on the 2nd of November from 9:00 to 19:30 hours. The shuttle bus service is free of charge.
