Last Friday 25th saw the presentation of the Birra & Art beer festival, an event where visitors can sample a wide range of craft beers and enjoy several days of great drinks, music and food. The second edition of this event will be held from the 6th to the 10th of August on the La Cala boulevard. On tap, in bottles or in cans, each one with its own unique character, more than 55 varieties of craft beer will be available to taste during the five-day festival. And while you sip, there’ll be no shortage of entertainment, with live concerts and performances throughout the event.
"We have two barbecue stands, one Chilean and one Argentinean, as well as the classic German sausages, which are a must at any beer festival. We will also have gourmet burgers and Mexican food", said the festival's promoter, José Miguel Macías.
The festival promises to be a highlight for craft beer enthusiasts and is also expected to give a boost to local tourism. "The beer festival will take place on La Cala boulevard from the 6th to the 10th of August, from 19 to 01 hours", said the councillor for Public Roads, Melisa Ceballos (PP). She also noted that the location has changed this year: “It’s a lovely area, with trees and open space, ideal for the beer stands and perfect for creating a more welcoming atmosphere".
Both the event organisers and the Department of Public Roads invite residents and visitors to this festival where music, gastronomy and, most importantly, craft beer promise to surprise with their variety and flavour.
