Last weekend, the company Global Promakers organised a fashion show at its premises with the aim of creating synergies among different business sectors in the area. The event brought together architects, engineers and fashion companies, aligned with the company’s own coworking philosophy to promote collaborative networks.

The fashion show served as a meeting point for entrepreneurs from different sectors, and featured the official launch of the new brand Filigrashian. The spokesperson for the company, Lisbeth Filigrana said that "we wanted to do something different, to create a synergy between architecture, the world of latticework and fashion, which we are passionate about and love. So we brought everything together and organised an event to showcase our premises".

Promakers is a business network based in Las Lagunas that connects technical, industrial and specialised service companies in Malaga. Its manager, José Antonio Cornejo, noted: “We’ve created a networking space where we are going to come together in Mijas and connect with its broad business community".

The weekend's activities began with a fashion show featuring three different brands. One of the participating fashion entrepreneurs was Teresa Pastor: "I'm presenting two collections from my clothing shops in Marbella, based on Mediterranean fashion, using natural fabrics from Greece, Turkey and Italy". Another featured company was Ohana, which offers handmade fashion and accessories crafted by indigenous communities from Colombia, Vietnam and South Africa".

  • El concejal Juan Carlos Maldonado y la concejala Lourdes Burgos asistieron al evento. |

The councillor for Economic Development, Juan Carlos Maldonado (PMP), and councillor Lourdes Burgos (PP) also attended the event to show their support. "This project is led by the company Luminosos Toro and its owner”, Maldonado pointed out, “and in this warehouse where they usually operate, they are now diversifying their business, creating collaboration networks with other companies and offering a meeting space, in this case, linked to fashion".
