The State Meteorological Agency in Spain (Aemet) has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures on Wednesday 25th June, affecting the Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce Valley regions. In some areas of the province of Málaga, temperatures are expected to reach up to 36 degrees Celsius on what is expected to be a stifling day, so it is recommended to stay hydrated and avoid going out during peak hours. If you do go out, it is advisable to protect your head with a cap or hat and apply sunscreen. The alert will be active from 13 to 20:59 hours on Wednesday.
