Town Hall and Provincial Council join forces to offer practical tools to enhance the municipality’s profile through technological solutions

The conference, aimed especially at professionals and businesses in the tourism sector, began at nine in the morning and lasted until two in the afternoon. It was a practical workshop for participants interested in deepening their knowledge of the subject. This was expressed by Manuel Robles, technical director of Training and Employment at the Malaga Provincial Council: "These sessions aim to increase understanding of AI in the business world and to demonstrate how easily large volumes of information can be effectively managed".

During the workshop, real-life scenarios based on specific sector needs were presented with the aim of teaching participants how to segment and solve problems using artificial intelligence tools. "We hope that these sessions prove fruitful and are repeated in the future, because this type of training helps workers become more agile in their roles and gain a competitive edge in the job market compared to those without such training", said Francisco Jerez (Vox), councillor for Tourism at the Mijas Town Hall.

This is an opportunity to continue advancing in the digitalisation of the tourism sector and to harness the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance the competitiveness of the destination. "At the Employment Service of the Málaga Provincial Council, we aim to highlight the value of the people living in small towns, where the quality of life and way of life is equal to or better than that of big cities, and in our province, we strive to ensure equal opportunities for al", said Robles.

The Training and Employment Building in Las Lagunas was the venue chosen to host the conference sponsored by the Malaga Provincial Council and organised by the Mijas Town Hall.

  • Se trata de una oportunidad para seguir avanzando en la digitalización del sector turístico y aprovechar el potencial de la inteligencia artificial. |
