La Cala boulevard has been filled with salsa,, flavour, and rhythm since the afternoon of Thursday 19th, thanks to the Gastrolatino Festival. This event has landed in the heart of the town centre and will stay until Sunday 22nd. Organised by Producciones Raíces in collaboration with our Town Hall, the festival promises, and already delivered on its first day, a full immersion in the culture and joy of Latin America.
The concept is simple yet appealing: an explosion of sensations for the whole family. On one hand, food trucks offer culinary treasures from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Cuba, and Mexico, among others. On the other, to wash down these delights, there are artisan cocktails with tropical flavours. All this comes with free admission and a festive atmosphere that invites visitors to stay and dance the night away.

If there’s one thing that defines this festival, it’s the music. Throughout the weekend, the stage will host tributes to Latin music legends like Celia Cruz, Juan Luis Guerra, Marc Anthony, and Romeo Santos. The line-up already had early attendees salivating. “We love it; we feel at home when we listen to Latin music and eat food from our countries. That’s why we couldn’t miss this event”, said Ana Laura Pérez and Aldo Medina.
It’s the perfect opportunity to dance, taste, and enjoy the most exciting Latin event of the summer. Don’t miss out!
