The Mijas Arts Centre has been a true gateway to an inner universe since Tuesday 10th. International artist Ludmilla Averanova, based on the Costa del Sol and with a career marked by the exploration of spirituality, opened her exhibition ‘Origin Without End - The Universe Within’, an expressionist immersion in painting, ceramic sculpture and free verse.
The inauguration was a sensory experience. A sound healing concert under the theme ‘Everything is Vibration - The universe is vibration’, offered by the doctor and president of the Arts Centre, Pernille Knudtzon, connected the audience with their deep frequency through singing crystal bowls and therapeutic harps.
The universe in a nutshell
The artist presented an expressionist blend of sculptures, poetry and paintings that invites visitors to discover themselves and transcend the limits of illusion. With a sensitivity that goes beyond the purely visual, Averanova’s work unfolds as a map to one’s inner self. Her proposal is a bold invitation to “discover ourselves and move beyond the limits of illusion”, through an expressionist alchemy in which vibrant paintings, organically resonant sculptures and the boundless echo of lyrical verse converse.
With a gaze that reaches into the cosmos, Averanova seeks to capture in her creations that "individually perceptible frequency" we each carry silently within. Yet her art is not a monologue, but an open conversation.
Starting this autumn, she will share her expertise at the Mijas Arts Centre through workshops designed to help each participant to learn how to translate their own unique personal vibration onto canvas, allowing participants to experiment with their own body, soul and spirit and capture their own personal frequencies .
The exhibition is open to the public, free of charge, until Tuesday 24th of June, during the gallery’s usual opening hours.
