The El Chaparral Golf Club hosted this initiative driven by several women’s business platforms and the Foreigners Department

From garden maintenance companies to textile businesses, all  had a place at the II International Business Networking Event, held on the afternoon of Tuesday 29th at El Chaparral Golf Club with the aim of meeting new organisations to collaborate with, creating synergies, and exploring new market niches. “There are many people here, each specialising in their own field, who have decided to spend an afternoon sharing some drinks and tapas and chatting with people they hadn’t met until today. People we hope will become not only friends but also business partners”, said the councillor for Foreigners at the Mijas Town Hall, Mario Bravo (PP).

Organised by several women’s business platforms in collaboration with the Foreigners Department of the Mijas Town Hall, this second edition of the business networking event brought together numerous companies, which set up stands to promote what they do. “The idea is that we all learn about what others are doing and that we are able to help each other”, Bravo explained. He added that the role of the Mijas Town Hall is to “support, help, and connect”, but the real protagonists of the story were Costa Women, Business 1st, BIC Euronova and the Dutch group Ellas, who brought “many of their clients, friends and collaborators” to the event, said the councillor, emphasising that the aim of this initiative is to build “a mutual support network among businesspeople”, both foreign and Spanish.

This networking event is part of the programme presented by the Foreigners Department for April and May, which will continue on May 4th with a spring market and on May 7th with an informative talk on traffic regulations and safety in Spain.

  • El encuentro tuvo lugar en el Club de Golf El Chaparral este martes 29.
