The first Mijas Women's Leadership Academy will take place between the 5th and 11th of November at Cortijo Alegria in Mijas. Organised by the Soroptimist International Costa del Sol Club, which is made up of around 100 members,the programme will feature round tables, talks on personal and business development, among other activities. The programme aims to strengthen women's leadership skills and provide tools for personal growth. 

"We have teachers from various countries and we are going to talk about women’s leadership, networking, how to give a presentation... We will also delve into ‘who I am’, what are my strengths and what are my weaknesses", said the president of Soroptimist International Costa del Sol, Dafne Theunissen. 

The organisation pointed out that the activity will take place at a time when flights are more affordable, as Soroptimists expect women from different countries to attend. They invite women from Mijas, students and businesswomen who want to expand their personal and professional knowledge and wish to share experiences with women from all over the world to join this academy.
