Some waiters will be able to show their skills thanks to the I Waiters Race organised by the La Cala Lions Club, in collaboration with the Foreigners Department, which will take place on Saturday 29th. Participants will have to run around 160 metres, along a stretch from Marbella Street in La Cala to the Torreón, without dropping anything on their tray, in a charity event. 

The event

At two o'clock in the afternoon, the race will get underway with more attractions, such as, for example, a street market with fifty craft and service stands and various flamenco and dance performances by the Pop Fama dance academy. All proceeds will be donated to charity. Registrations can be made by calling 663 529 280 (Sandie) or at the Lions Club charity shop in La Cala.
