On Thursday, 27th of March, you have an appointment, Mijas Comunicación invites you to the presentation of a new edition of the exhibition of Holy Week photographs. Titulars, brotherhoods, parish associations and music bands are once again at the centre of this photographic exhibition with which we can relive some of the best moments of Holy Week 2024 in Mijas.

On Thursday 20th, the managing directors of Mijas Comunicación, councillors Mario Bravo (PP) and Juan Carlos Cuevas Dawson (Vox), informed about this exhibition, an initiative that started in 2017. "‘Holy Week in Mijas cannot be understood without the work of Mijas Comunicación, it is not only the live broadcast of the different processions, but also the selection of the 40 most important moments that are chosen during the following months and are part of an exhibition that will be inaugurated on Thursday 27 March at the Casa Museo in Mijas Pueblo, at 20 hours", said Bravo, who added that "we invite all Mijeños and tourists to join us at the opening, because it is the best way to warm up and imbibe the spirit of Holy Week". 

 

The exhibition is made up of 40 snapshots (60x40 cms) taken during the processions of the different brotherhoods and parish associations in the town, as well as the musical groups. For his part, Cuevas Dawson, who defended the need to preserve the values of Christianity, highlighted the work of the groups, "I have to congratulate all the brotherhoods of Mijas for the great work they do. Congratulations to Mijas Comunicación, of course, because I was really impressed with the work that was done last year with the photographs that we could see in the Casa Museo", said the councillor, who invited "all the people in Mijas to go to the Casa Museo from Thursday 27th of March to see the work that has been done, they are really spectacular photographs".
