The Enterríos Youth Hostel presents its programme for 'Semana Blanca' (White Week)

  • The activities will take place from the 24th to the 28th of February and are aimed at children aged between 4 and 15 years old
  • The municipal workers are already preparing the facilities before the opening

The registration period opens on February 10th for those registered in Mijas.

The Entrerríos Youth Hostel almost ready to open again during the next 'Semana Blanca' (White Week). As usual, it will offer a full programme during these dates, from the 24th to 28th of February, where participants will be able to enjoy holidays in nature.

The facilities are being prepared before the opening at the end of February, when the hostel will begin its 2025 season. The councillor responsible for the area, Melisa Ceballos (PP), visited the facilities on Wednesday 5. "We are making all the necessary improvements, painting and renovating the gardens. We are already underway. In addition, we have already requested all the staff, for catering, teachers, healthcare, all the staff that our children need to be perfectly cared for. We hope that the children will come and enjoy these facilities, which are wonderful".

The camp will take place from the 24th to the 28th of February, overnight stays, for children from 4 to 15 years old. Registered residents can enrol from the 10th of February and non-registered can enrol from the 14th if there are still places available. 

Pre-enrolments can be made by registering in person at the Town Hall and at the two branch offices, and through the electronic office. The price for registered residents for the whole week will be 54 euros. 

During this week, special attention will be paid to the environmental theme ‘The keys to nature’. Children will enjoy workshops on nature, cooking, animal care, outdoor activities, as well as sports and traditional games. According to Ceballos, "the hostel continues to offer the much-needed values of respect for nature and the environment, for animals and about sharing with each others". 

There are also places for children with special needs who, together with the rest of their friends, will be able to enjoy these holidays.
