Benjamin Franklin said: "Nothing is certain, except death and taxes". You have to pay and the period to pay the taxes and fees of the Mijas Town Hall on a voluntary basis will end this Wednesday 20th of November. As always, there are three ways to pay municipal taxes: in person, at any of the municipal offices; through the electronic office with digital certificate or electronic ID; or through the express payment platform, which allows any registered resident to pay their taxes in a comfortable and easy way, from any place, device and at any time of the day.
If you are one of those who prefer to pay in person, you should know that during the 19th and 20th of November, both the municipal offices at the Town Hall and at the Branch Offices in La Cala and Las Lagunas will also be open in the afternoon, from 16 to 19 hours.
You can also pay your taxes by direct debit, which will give you a 5% discount. However, this procedure must be requested at least two months before the first remittance is issued.
In addition to the direct debit, the Mijas Town Hall offers residents the possibility and the advantage of paying their taxes and fees in instalments.
