On Sunday 15th the Peña Flamenca del Sur is organising a charity meal in aid of the Association AFA Fuengirola-Mijas Costa. The event will start at 14 hours with a paella lunch. As the vice-president of the peña, José Martín, explaine"each serving will cost 7 euros and will be accompanied by a tomato picadillo". He also took the opportunity to call on everyone to "come to the peña, buy a plate of rice and collaborate". 

The funds raised will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association AFA Fuengirola-Mijas Costa. According to its president, Paqui Lebrón, "the association is currently raising money to promote the expansion project of the day centre, located in Los Pacos, for which we need to make a contribution of 400,000 euros".

The event will be enlivened, 15:30 hours with performances by the flamenco singer María Barea and the guitarist Javier de Ana María, Enrique Heredia and Ismael Tamayo and Antonio Rojas. The flamenco company of Juan Antonio Pérez, Azabache, and the flamenco group Fusión Meraki will also perform. All the artists are collaborating free of charge. 

This peña, which currently has more than 150 members and will soon celebrate its 40th anniversary, invites us all to join in this charity event which, on this occasion, will be dedicated to Alzheimer's patients.
