From Mijas Felina they claim that, on a daily basis, they feed "around 2,000 cats" which are distributed among the different colonies that exist in Mijas, which means a "monthly expense of approximately 7,000 euros", which, translated into kilos, is around 3 tons. This money, they point out, is to a large extent provided by the association, which is once again asking the public to donate dry food or cans at the stand that will be set up at the Kiwoko shop in Mijas, in the Miramar Shopping Centre this coming Saturday, 7th of September, from 10am to 10pm.
Mijas Felina points out that community cats need about 50 grams of dry food per day and 80 grams for those who are at home, and stress that they do not feed on leftover human food or bread.
Finally, they point out that anyone who wants to collaborate with Mijas Felina can make a donation via Paypal (mijasfelina@hotmail.com) or bank transfer (ES88 3058 0834 3627 2003 6966).
