In keeping with tradition, the proclamation announcing the Mijas Fair, which will be held between the 4th and 9th of September in honour of the Virgen de la Peña, will take place tomorrow, Saturday 31st August, in the Municipal Auditorium Miguel González Berral in Mijas Pueblo. On this occasion, the town crier is the athlete José Manuel Cerezo, former middle-distance runner, specialised in the 800 metres and current coach of the Club Atletismo Mijas.
But prior to the opening speech, today, Friday 30th of August, the Veraneando programme bids farewell to the summer with its final party in the Water Park from 20:00 hours with foam cannons, inflatables and dancing.
