The Mijas Town Hall has announced that this year, through the Employment Promotion area, three visitor information points will be set up to provide information in both Spanish and English during the Mijas Fair.
This service will be offered by the employees of the employment and training programme for administrative activities in relation to the client called Mijas Gestiona, which began on the 13th of June. It is an initiative financed with funds from the General State Administration granted by the Junta de Andalucía and promoted by the Mijas Town Hall. Thus, the initiative that will be undertaken at the Mijas Fair seeks to put into practice skills and knowledge developed during the programme, such as communication skills in both languages, teamwork, customer service skills and competences, work organisation, leadership and collaborative learning.
The visitor service will be offered on the 4th of September from 9:30 to 13:30 hours and the points will be located in the Plaza Jesús Nazareno, close to the Folk Museum; in the Plaza de la Constitución; and outside the hermitage of Compás.
Each point will be manned by five workers, who will offer information about the festivities, their logistics and other information of interest about the municipality.
