The Idiliq Foundation welcomes Ukrainian children in its kids' club in Malaga

  • Durante mes y medio, estos niños ucranianos pasarán unas buenas vacaciones de verano junto a las familias malagueñas.

The children, who will spend most of the summer with families in the province, enjoyed a day of games and swimming with their siblings from Malaga

A group of Ukrainian children hosted by families from Malaga enjoyed on Wednesday 7th a day at the Wyndham Resort facilities. With the aim of spending a different and fun day, feeling like privileged customers, the Idiliq Foundation invited these children, who come with the help of the association La Sonrisa de un niño (A Child's Smile).

"They are now our VIP clients and this is how we are treating them, letting them use our swimming pools, eating with us, playing games and spending a holiday day in our resort, something they may have never done before", said Juan Miguel Marcos, president of the foundation, adding that "our aim is for them to have new experience during their holidays in Malaga and that they will always remember us".

This is not the first time that the foundation has collaborated with the association 'La Sonrisa de un Niño', which every summer brings children in need, from other countries, to Spain. "We used to bring children from Belarus affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, but this year we decided to bring a group of children from Ukraine", explained Estevina Marto, president of the group, who also pointed out that "this year there are six children in Malaga and another group in Huelva, with almost ten minors".

  • Los videojuegos también han formado parte de esta mañana lúdica organizada por la Fundación Idiliq.

The children were very happy with the activity and with their holiday in Malaga with their host families. On Wednesday they were also accompanied in this activity by their "brothers from Malaga", said the president, "and with all this what we intend is that for a few days they can leave the war situation in which they live and enjoy their holidays".

For a month and a half, these children, who are between 9 and 13 years old, will enjoy numerous activities such as this one, which Idiliq has prepared for them, and which, without a doubt, will continue to make them smile.
