Rosé wine, trendy at the La Zambra Hotel

  • Los vinos rosados suelen destacar por su cuerpo ligero, su frescura y su versatilidad.

On Wednesday 31st, the establishment offered a tasting specialised in this type of wine

Throughout the summer, the hotel La Zambra is offering wine tastings every Wednesday, from 19:00 to 20:00 hours, in one of its restaurants, Picador. The day of 31st of July was dedicated to rosé wines, with the presence of regional wineries who had the opportunity to present their products. “Today we are going to taste four wines from different places, both national and international. We are going to start with a sparkling to start with something fresh. Then we are going to try a rosé from Andalusia and another from Navarre, which are the typical and most classic rosés in Spain”, said the restaurant’s sommelier, Mario Martínez.

The pairing is essential to enhance the wine, but also to showcase the local gastronomy. As the sommelier said, “the most important thing about a wine tasting is to enjoy the wine, as the wine is for sharing and for the participants to give their opinion, also tasting the gastronomic options offered at the restaurant”.

The head of Marketing and Communication of the hotel, Noelia Neiro, also present at the activity, explained that “the intention is that people come to a tasting, in a relaxed atmosphere, have a good time, chat and taste some of the 90 different wines that we offer in our restaurant, where they can also stay for dinner”.

To attend one of these tastings you can book online at: www.lazambrahotel.com.
