The first glamping resort on the Costa del Sol has now opened its doors, a unique tourist complex offering a wide variety of accommodation and services. This new tourist option, located next to the A7 motorway between the municipalities of Mijas and Fuengirola, adds to the wide range of hotels in the area, offering a new opportunity to create jobs. According to the general manager of the resort, Alicia Peromingo, "we have had a lot of support from the local institutions, which have helped us a lot when it comes to finding staff". 

Currently, Peromingo pointed out, more than 40 workers have been hired, "and the plan is to continue to expand the number of employees, which in addition will work all year round, because the Glamping resort won't close during the winter". 

Among the new employees is Javier Casado, reception assistant, who is very happy to have started working in this glamping resort, "I am from Malaga but I was living in Granada, so I am very grateful to be back in my homeland and to be able to work in a place like this". 

Features of the Glamping Costa del Sol

This innovative space, with more than 40,000 m2, has a total of 165 accommodation units, from the tipi, which represents the glamping experience and the tent, to bungalows of different capacities. It also includes different entertainment services for children and adults, gym, swimming pool, spa and sports facilities. They also offer pet friendly accommodation, all aimed at customers seeking greater privacy, tranquillity and comfort. 

About these services, the director Alicia Peromingo pointed out that "all the gastronomic spaces we have, from the kiosk, the restaurant and the chill out, are open to all citizens in the evenings, the idea is to offer a gastronomic experience focused on Mediterranean and Andalusian cuisine but always with a fusion cooking approach".
