Six artists from this group coming from the Campo de Gibraltar are participating with different works

The exhibition 'Universo diverso' (Diverse Universe) by the collective Fermentarte, opened last Friday 14th and can be visited at the La Cala Cultural Centre until the 8th of July.

Fermentarte is a collective from Campo de Gibraltar that came together to showcase their creativity. As the group's spokesperson and artist, Eire Terrero, explained, "although we come from the Campo de Gibraltar, we don't mind exhibiting anywhere else because we think and feel that painting, art or creation doesn't have to be restricted to a single place".

The collective is made up of twelve members, although only six are participating in this exhibition 'Diverse Universe'. They work in different disciplines, such as photography, painting and sculpture, hence the title of the exhibition. Eire is presenting a watercolour from Mijas, where she lived in the early 1990s. Benedicto Martínez, Henrik Canon, Margarita Salguero, Sara Otero and Soco Luis also participated in the exhibition with very personal works.

The exhibition shows the works of each artist and, next to each piece, there is a QR code with information about the work and the price. The works were inaugurated last Friday 14th with the attendance of members of the government team and can be visited until the 8th of July.
