Ahead of the important days of Holy Week, we accompany the different music bands in their rehearsals. Yesterday, we joined the veteran 'Agrupación Musical de Las Lagunas' as they prepared their processional marches at the María Zambrano school. 

"We are only two days away from Holy Week, we are living it very intensely, we rehearse two hours a day and we are already working on all the repertoire we have that the brotherhoods have asked us for", said Javier Sedeño, spokesman for the group.  

40 processional marches endorse this group that accompanies the brotherhoods practically every day of the week. It is the brotherhoods who choose the marches they are most interested in from this repertoire. Their repertoire combines classical and modern marches. "Above all, we highlight our own marches for the Cuesta de la Villa or Calle Málaga", says Sedeño, who has been in the brotherhoods for 16 years, he began at the age of 12 following in his brother's footsteps and is now one of the people who represents the group, which is experiencing a great moment as a musical group. 

"We are in a very good period, I remember when I joined, we were about 30 members and now we are twice as many, about 60 plus the external commission, who help us with the banner, with the water or carrying instruments that we have, with them we are 70 people", explains the spokesman. They are never close to new people and fully enjoy Holy Week and the Christmas concert, which they also play a leading role in.
