Producers and business from Málaga met last week at Amor a Málaga to support and promote María Cabello's new project. Among others, representatives from the wineries Malvajío, Jorge Ordóñez, Nilva and Carpe Diem attended the event. The philosophy of this project is to publicise and bring local and zero-kilometre products closer to the public. "The idea is to bring the product closer to the final customer and the best way to get to know the product is through its producer, who transmits the love and effort behind it", explained Cabello, who added that "mainly I have wines, honey, jams, oils from various places, beer, gin, liquors from Malaga, cold meats from the area of Ronda, cheeses from the mountains of Malaga and some 'piquitos' from Antequera made with sourdough, 100% artisan. In Malaga nowadays we have everything".
The Mijas Town Hall values this type of initiatives. "They are families from Mijas who are committed to giving that innovative and traditional nature to the town, combining many aspects to make Mijas a very attractive municipality", said the councillor for Economic Development and Trade, Juan Carlos Maldonado (PMP), who said that "we will work together with these establishments, with all the tourist and commercial area to make Mijas, even more, an attractive destination that allows activity throughout the day".
As a reminder, Amor a Málaga is located in Málaga St., number 38, in Mijas Pueblo.
