From March 23rd to 27th, the Farm School Hostel of Entrerríos will open its doors to children from 4 to 15 years old so that they can enjoy during Easter Week a wide range of activities in the middle of nature, and as always, is associated with a theme, which, on this occasion, will be 'The colours of nature', coinciding, in addition, with the beginning of spring.

"From the Hostel Department we have everything ready for the children who want to participate in this camp to enjoy the different activities that we are going to organise", said the councillor responsible for the area, Silvia Marín (PP), who detailed several of the actions of the programme that will be carried out in these facilities, such as "ecological itineraries through the area, fancy dress and handicraft workshops, theatre and mimes, they will learn how to grow crops in the garden and look after the animals, and also, with the help of the cook, they will make their own bread in the stone oven we have".

Marín also pointed out that the launch of this overnight camp has a double objective: on the one hand, to offer an interesting educational, cultural and sporting programme for the children which encourages "socialisation, teamwork and knowledge of nature and the environment", and, on the other hand, "to help families to reconcile family and work life".

The department stresses: "we take care of all the aspects that surround the situations of the children who decide to attend the Entrerríos Hostel on holidays: care, education, food, hygiene, night's rest, health care, among others", and they add that "the food is healthy, prepared in the hostel's own kitchen and whose menus are adapted to the dishes typical of these dates".

Technical team

The councillor also highlighted the human team at the Hostel department, who will be living with the children during these five days of Easter: "There is a great team that works with dedication and care to ensure the proper development of the camp, consisting of monitors, one for every 10 children, as established by current regulations, as well as cooks, lifeguards, cleaning staff, operators and nursing staff so that children, and above all families, can be reassured when leaving their children in a safe environment".
