One of the dissemination events of the Young Craft Women Business Go Digital-YouGo project took place on Wednesday 13th of February at the Employment Promotion building in Las Lagunas. It had the collaboration of the Municipal Women's Information Centre of Mijas, fulfilling one of the objectives of the Strategic Plan for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men of Mijas, aimed to improve the employability of women and promote equal opportunities in employment. 35 craft women from the municipality interested in improving their training in entrepreneurship and digital marketing participated in the event.

The Young Craft Women Business Go Digital-YouGo is a project coordinated by the Egeria Social Development Association and funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. It seeks to promote the improvement of digital entrepreneurship skills of craft women. Entities from different countries, such as Italy, Lithuania, Cyprus, Germany and Spain are also collaborating with this project. Spain has been represented by the craftswomen from Puerta del Ágora in Mijas Pueblo.  

The main objective during the two years of this project has been to train and empower female artisans to expand their businesses, providing them with tools and skills for the digital world through different platforms. On one hand, there was an e-learning platform on digital marketing and business skills. On the other, an e-commerce platform to promote and sell their products. The project also includes a study on the main needs of craft women, as well as the creation of podcasts that collect the experience of entrepreneurship in the crafts sector of women from the participating countries.
