Last days to collaborate with the Sunflower Movement for the Cudeca Foundation

  • The aim of the campaign is to help 400 patients at the end of their lives
  • En 2023 Cudeca atendió a 1.864 personas y ofreció apoyo a más de 2.400 familiares.

Donations can be made until January 31st

The Sunflower Movement campaign was launched on November 1st, and since then the Cudeca Foundation has managed to raise 114,911 euros, a significant figure, but not enough to reach its goal of 250,000 euros. That is the estimated amount needed to provide enough services to help 400 patients at the end of their lives and 800 families to benefit from the totally free care provided by Cudeca's medical teams.

The campaign will run until January 31st. Contributions can be made through the following websites: www.movimientogirasol.org and www.cudeca.org.

More than 1,800 patients cared for in 2023

In 2023, Cudeca cared for 1,864 people and provided support to more than 2,400 family members. Since 1992, the year of its foundation thanks to the work of Joan Hunt, it has cared for almost 19,000 patients through the disciplinary programmes of home care, day unit and inpatient unit; supported by psychosocial care programmes and rehabilitation programmes. Cudeca's care and attention is completely free of charge.

Adding life to the days

Cudeca Foundation works to ensure quality of life, autonomy and dignity for the people it cares for until the very end. Aware that you cannot add more days to life, Cudeca, with its care, is in charge of adding life to the days. To continue its work, it needs the help of many partners, donors and supporters, as well as the invaluable work of volunteers.
