Elections to the European Parliament will be held on June 9th, 2024. In these elections all Spanish citizens and those of the European Union who have previously requested their inclusion in the electoral roll and have expressed in advance their intention to vote in Spain for these elections will be able to do so. Citizens of the United Kingdom are not eligible to vote.

Non-Spanish EU citizens resident in Spain may vote in the elections to the European Parliament on June 9th 2024 if they are included in the electoral roll in force for these elections and are of legal age on the day of the vote. For this purpose, data will be taken from the electoral roll as of January 30th, 2024.

In order to be included in the current electoral census for the elections, prior registration in the municipal register is required and to have expressed the intention to exercise the right of active suffrage in the elections to the European Parliament in Spain.

Mijas will maintain the current structure of polling stations and tables, i.e. citizens will vote in the same place where they voted last year.
