Agents belonging to the Main Post of the Civil Guard of Mijas have arrested an individual as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of illegal possession of weapons, abuse in the family environment, injuries, threats with a firearm and breach of restraining order. The arrest was made after a complaint was lodged by a woman who claimed to have been mistreated by her own son, causing her injuries. Apparently, he was demanding money from her and allegedly threatened her with a shotgun, with which he even fired several shots.

The agents set up a search for this individual, who was located hours later in a house in Mijas. Once the corresponding judicial warrant was obtained, the house where the alleged aggressor was staying was entered and searched, leading to his arrest and that of his partner, who was also the subject of a warrant for his arrest and imprisonment.

In the house, the investigators found a shotgun with sawed-off barrels and butt, which was used by the detainee to commit the reported threats, as well as a large machete. Both detainees were brought before the courts and remanded in custody.
