The Gran Recogida 2023 of Bancosol, the Costa del Sol Food Bank, is just around the corner. Tomorrow, Friday 24th, and Saturday 25th, we can all collaborate with our financial contribution in the supermarkets participating in the campaign at the checkout line. In this edition, the slogan is 'Feed a better life'. Accounts have also been opened in Unicaja and Caixabank to receive contributions, as well as via Bizum by sending a donation to 00887. In this new edition of the Great Collection, 4,100 volunteers will participate and more than 345 establishments and 22 large supermarkets in the province of Malaga will be collaborating. Among other collaborating establishments, in Las Lagunas, we can find Carrefour, Mercadona, Hipercor, Lidl and Aldi; in Mijas Pueblo, the Día supermarket and, in La Cala de Mijas, the two Carrefour stores. In Las Lagunas, the NGO is supported by volunteers from the 'Asociación Nueva Cultura del Desarrollo'. 

In this new campaign, Bancosol has set itself the target of reaching 700,000 euros. At the moment, it helps 169 associations of disadvantaged sectors and groups, assisting 47,000 people, including 14,077 children who cannot cover their basic needs.
