With Christmas just around the corner, 'Cruz Roja' Mijas is already thinking about its various campaigns to help at this time of year. For this reason, it has already presented a new edition of its Christmas Solidarity Games Day. On the 18th of November, the Andalucía Park will be filled with activities throughout the day for families. Admission will be at a symbolic price of 1.50 euros.

This fun day will be held in the morning, from 11:00 to 14:00 hours, and in the afternoon from 16:00 to 19:00 hours. For a small entrance fee of 1.50 euros, families will be able to take part in traditional games, raffles, workshops, survival games, board games, vehicle exhibitions and drone shows. 

According to Cristina Cuevas, member of the Youth Council of the Mijas Red Cross, "we are preparing a lot of traditional games, Christmas craft workshops, a drone show, an aid station to do a CPR workshop and many more things for the children. The aim of this day is to raise funds to help the Three Wise Men with toys so that all the children of Mijas can have presents at this time of year. 

According to the Red Cross, "the games are aimed at the youngest children in Mijas and the money will also go to other local campaigns". Cuevas assures that "the little ones have a great time, they are very entertained on this day and it is a very nice way to support those families who need a little more help". 

More than 15 Red Cross volunteers will be the monitors in charge of developing this event. Last year, 134 families from Mijas were helped with this day. The activity is organised by the local branch of the Red Cross with the collaboration of various entities and organisations such as the Town Hall and Málaga Dron. The Red Cross assists many families at a local level in its various programmes, therefore, we ask for the collaboration of all families and, above all, the presence of many children in the Solidarity Games".
