More than 150 athletes have already registered for the II Triathlon Villa de Mijas to be held on Sunday, September 17th in the sprint modality with a lap of the swimming triangle at the Torreón beach with a distance of 750 metres. The race will start at 9 in the morning, start for the men, and the women, five minutes later.  This will be followed by a demanding 20 kilometre bike ride and a 5 kilometre run along the coastal path.  The categories are: youth, junior, U23, senior and veterans 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The prices, until the end of registration, will be 35 euros for federated and 42 for non-federated participants.  More information can be obtained by telephone: 639616571, or by e-mail: inscripciones@triatlonandalucia.org.  Prizes will be awarded for the top three men, women, and in each of the categories mentioned above.  There will also be a special prize for the club, federated in triathlon, with the highest number of men and women who finish the race.  In addition, there will be a cash prize for the first three classified with 150, 100 and 50 euros respectively.  Mijas Comunicación, 3.40 TV, will offer you this race live from 8:45 am with the pre-start.
