The Huella Felina Mijas Association is asking for the help of the residents of Mijas to help "Botas" "Mini" "Calcetines" "Rubio", a 10 year old cat, who even without knowing his name very well is known by many people who have been feeding him for 7 years in the Mijas Golf Urbanisation. The cat was attacked on the night of the 1st of August by an American Stanford, considered a potentially dangerous breed in Spain and therefore obliged to wear a muzzle, however, he was not wearing one. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated attack; in little more than a year this same dog has been involved in three other attacks on other animals.

"Boots" was hospitalised due to his serious injuries, including the fracture of one of his paws. Fortunately, the cat is recovering, albeit slowly, in a foster home. However, from the Huella Felina Mijas Association, they ask for the collaboration of the citizens to cover the costs of hospitalisation, as the surgical intervention alone is worth 952 euros. In addition, they ask you to share the event for a wider dissemination. For more information huellafelinamijas@hotmail.com (concept: BOTAS).
