After the two initial registration periods to access the 2023/2024 course of the 'Universidad Popular' (UP) on Wednesday 16th of August begins the third registration period, which will run until the 13th of September and which, like the previous one, is aimed at those registered in Mijas. As for those interested in taking any of the UP workshops, but who are not registered in Mijas, they can register between the 4th and 13th of September. 

For this new academic year, which begins shortly, the UP has designed and developed 22 workshops which, according to those responsible, cover the demands of the population, while continuing to offer courses that are already traditional in our town. 

These include language courses, music, health activities such as tai chi and yoga, and tapestry. A wide range of courses which are currently enjoyed by around 3,000 students and which has grown exponentially due to the great demand and interest of the residents of Mijas. 

Registered and non-registered residents who wish to enrol can do so through the website www.up.es, where they can also make the corresponding payment, or in person at the three Mijas centres.
