'The beauty of the impossible', by artist Blas Cano, can be visited throughout August

On Tuesday a new exhibition of paintings was inaugurated at the Tourist Office in Mijas Pueblo. It is a collection full of feelings, in which its author, Blas Cano, better known as Burasu, transmits the emotions generated by nature and its importance to the viewer.

Specifically, the artist focuses on the beauty of the Spanish fir, a species located in Andalusia, specifically in the Sierra de las Nieves and Sierra Bermeja. According to the head of Tourism at Mijas Town Hall, José Carlos Martín (Cs), who attended the opening of the exhibition, "it is an exhibition that is going to be very popular, which deals with feelings and what nature expresses in its living state".

The beauty of the impossible' is the name of this collection by Blas Cano, with which he aims to transmit the sensations he perceives when he sees these "pinsapares", now captured on canvas.

Cano began his studies in graphic design at the San Telmo School of Art and has been exhibiting his work and dedicating his time to the world of art for 30 years. A profession that allows him to express his experiences and feelings to the spectator so that they can experience them with him. To do this, he uses resources such as black frames, which guide the observer's eye to the exact point he wishes to show.

The Department of Tourism encourages locals and tourists to visit this exhibition, which will remain open throughout the month of August, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. In addition, said the councillor, "people who come here will not have any problems with the heat and will be delighted with all these works".
