The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has once again activated the red alert for extreme temperatures on the Costa del Sol, Guadalhorce Valley and the metropolitan area of Malaga capital. Maximum temperatures could exceed 40 degrees this Wednesday between 13:00 and 21:00, reaching up to 42 degrees in some of these areas. The south-westerly wind (terral) will also be present throughout the day.
