After flamenco and jazz, last Friday 28th it was the turn of rock. The patio of the Folk Museum in Mijas Pueblo was the setting for the concert offered by the group LGangsters, the last of the three scheduled within the 'Music in the patio' cycle, organised by the Mijas Town Hall's Department for Culture. "In fact, more than 200 people have passed through this patio during the last three Fridays of July to enjoy the music, dance and create a very good atmosphere", said the councillor for the department, Verónica Ensberg (PSOE), adding that "the 'Casa Museo' is a living area that has special acoustics, without forgetting its surroundings, which are fabulous".
LGangsters is a band that moves along the coast of Malaga offering versions of the purest rock of the 80's mixed with soul songs and touches of jazz. Catalina Fernández has been the band's vocalist for only a few weeks: "This is my first concert and I'm very happy to start here because it's a very nice, cosy and exclusive place, with a very select audience, between acquaintances and new people", she pointed out.
The public was right in choosing this leisure plan for Friday afternoon. "I saw that there was a concert here at the Folk Museum and, as we like rock music so much, we decided to come up from the coast. We loved it", said Lola Sánchez, one of the attendees, while Analía Colman pointed out:"the band was great, we also liked this patio a lot, apart from the whole village, which is very beautiful".
