The work to improve and decorate the roundabout located between Camino de Coín and Avenida AMPA Las Caracolas has begun. These works are estimated to last two months, and no traffic will be cut off in the area, as the operatives will only mark off the points where they are working. With this intervention, the image of the area will be improved and the roundabout will also be signposted indicating the name of Mijas. According to the councillor for Infrastructures and Works, José Carlos Martín (Cs), "this project will cost around 56,000 euros and aims to add colour to the roundabout with the planting of trees, the laying of artificial grass, new lighting, sculptures, etc. In short, we want to beautify it and also include a sign with the name of Mijas, so that everyone who comes here will also know that they are in the municipality. The works will include the placing of two ornamental vessels.
