At 15:30 hours, the Infoca (Andalusian Fire Brigade) declared the fire that broke out after 12:00 hours in a location in Entrerríos to be under control (at 14:00 hours it was already stabilised). The extinguishing work began quickly by the Mijas Fire Brigade, which has counted on its new reinforcement team. After the refreshing and perimeter work, the fire was extinguished. No personal injuries were reported, although what appears to be a tool shed was burnt. Despite the fact that the wind was not blowing, it is an area with a lot of dry scrubland and a watercourse, which were two factors that complicated the extinguishing work even more. There were 32 Infoca personnel, two helicopters and a fire engine (more information to come).
