The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has activated the red alert for extreme temperatures on the Costa del Sol and in the Guadlahorce Valley for todays, Wednesday. According to the Aemet, the province is facing the hottest week of the year, after the heat wave we already suffered in June. As a result, the temperatures could reach a maximum of 42 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees between 13:00 and 21:00 on Wednesday, and therefore the population is urged to take precautions.
