CN Kronos Mijas says goodbye to Juan Salvador González Picón

C.N.K.M. 'To talk about Juan Salvador González Picón is to talk about the Mijas Swimming Club. At the age of 14, in 1985, he started swimming before the foundation of the club, with the Mijas Sports Council. At 18 he put aside his time as a swimmer to continue his training as a monitor and to study Physical Education Teaching, during which time he obtained various coaching qualifications. He then continued to swim in the masters category for the club until his illness in 2019 deprived him of doing what he loved most. As a coach he worked in the school between 1996 and 2005 and also trained federated swimmers, who even became medallists in the Spanish and Andalusian championships. His trajectory as a swimmer in different categories has been constant and he has been one of the longest linked to competitive swimming.

In the early morning of last Sunday 2nd of July to Monday 3rd, Juan Salvador González Picón left us. At the Club Natacion Mijas we will always remember you. Rest in peace'.
