The bathing season begins in Mijas Pueblo. This Friday, 23rd of June, the municipal swimming pool in Osunillas opens, a week earlier than usual to accommodate the children who have already finished their school year. It will be open until the 3rd of September, also a little later than usual.

The pool will be open every day of the week, from midday to 8pm. Entry to the facilities will be free and will only be allowed to residents registered in the municipality. It will have access control and a lifeguard service at all times when it is open. The lifeguard service will be reinforced at weekends and on the busiest days. Free swimming will not be allowed during the swimming lessons timetable, i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, until two o'clock in the afternoon.

The Town Hall is calling for responsible use of the facilities, where a good atmosphere, tranquillity and enjoyment of the pool will be the predominant feature of the bathing season.
