Once the municipal corporation was constituted last Saturday 17th of June, this Friday 23rd the Mijas Town Hall will hold an extraordinary plenary session to ratify, among other items, the change of councillor Juan Carlos Maldonado to non-attached councillor, the constitution of political groups and the designation of spokespersons, as well as the appointment of deputy mayors of the town. In addition, this plenary session will approve the frequency of the plenary sessions, the creation, name and composition of the informative commissions and will determine the positions of exclusive and partial dedication and their remuneration, as well as the compensation for attending plenary sessions and collegiate councils.  

The agenda also includes the designation of the representatives of the Mijas Town Hall in the Assembly of the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol, as well as the economic allocations to the political groups and the modification of the temporary staffing table.
