Alert for a missing person in our region. Since 25 May, María Ester Gurruchaga Moreno, a resident of Fuengirola, is still missing and has not returned home, nor has she contacted her 22 year old son or any family or friends. Her family, through different platforms such as SOS Desaparecidos and their social networks, are looking for clues about her and her whereabouts.
María Ester is 42 years old, 5'6" tall, with black hair, brown eyes and several tattoos. Her car is also unaccounted for and is a Citroen C3, registration number 7982 GKS, grey-green in colour.
The alert was triggered when her 22 year old son, who lives with her, was contacted from her workplace in a bar in Mijas to inform him that she had not shown up for work without warning, which is unusual for her.
The disappearance of this woman is considered vulnerable. According to family statements, "she was suffering from depression and had filed a complaint for abuse. She had a restraining order. But she was still seeing her former partner". Her activity on social networks has continued, although the family suspects that it is not her, and that someone "is using her passwords".
