The Costurmoda sewing school, located in Las Lagunas, has presented its first intensive pattern-making course, which will take place from the 4th to the 7th of May at the academy itself, located at Calle San Roque, number 21, and which will also offer leisure and tourism activities for the students.
According to the centre's director, Raquel Guaita, the participants will learn to design the five essential patterns for any type of garment (skirt, body, sleeve, collar and trousers), "taking the patterns home afterwards".
The classes will be held on the mornings of the 5th, 6th and 7th of May, from 9:30 to 14 hours and the afternoons will be dedicated to leisure activities and different sightseeing tours, including visits to the beach.
The pack also includes accommodation in flats or hotels in the area, which means that the price varies depending on which option is chosen. All the information is available on the Costurmoda website.
The academy offers twelve openings to attend this course in which, Guaita assured, "people from Madrid, Toledo and Jaén have already signed up, and we are receiving many calls". If you are interested, you can sign up until the 27th of April by calling 676 068 705.
