On Tuesday, March 28th, at 16.00 hours, the Foreigners Department of the Mijas Town Hall will offer an informative talk addressed to foreign residents in the town. On this occasion, the talk will be given by the financial company Private Client Consultancy, which will answer questions related to taxes from the attendees. The auditorium of the Branch Offices in La Cala de Mijas will host this informative day with which it is intended to “inform and keep the entire foreign resident population in the municipality up to date. To do this they must reserve their place by sending an email to frd@mijas.es”, said the councillor for the Department, Arancha Lopez (Cs), who added that those interested “may also send a message to the same email with specific questions that will be answered on the same day of the talk. Likewise, there will also be a turn for questions to answer any doubts”. The presentation of this talk was attended by the heads of the consultancy in charge of giving this lecture, which will be the second time it does so in the municipality: “After the success of the last event, we have decided to collaborate again with the Town Hall to meet the needs of foreign residents in the town and help them understand how the country’s bureaucracy works or explain how changes in the laws affect them”, explained the managing partner of Private Client Consultancy, Kevin Birtles. His partner, consultancy administrator Karen Blair, encouraged “everyone to come to this talk, as we will be happy to answer your questions. In addition, there will be a cocktail reception and ‘snacks’ following the talk”.
Topics to be discussed
Among the highlights of this new informative talk will be issues related to tax updates in Spain where the importance of inheritance taxes, among other matters, will be discussed. The financial perspective will also be addressed, as well as interest rates, inflation, investments, residency or regulation, among many other subjects, will be explained to all those foreign residents who decide to attend.
