Children’s entertainment, ‘zambombás’ and a special visit from Father Christmas will be the activities that will accompany us during this Christmas in the urban centres of Mijas. The Festivities Department has informed about this programme. “From this week in our municipality we will have this fantastic musical bus that will tour the various urban centres, especially the shopping areas to liven up the Christmas atmosphere”, says the councillor for Festivities, Tamara Vera (PSOE).
The first notes played by the children’s orchestra that will accompany us this Christmas have been heard from the fairground of Las Lagunas, and the pupils of the El Albero school, who were visiting and met this very special orchestra, were delighted. “We’ve been singing with them and we’ve had a very good time”, says Noa Álvarez, a student at the El Albero school.
The musical bus will visit each of the urban centres until next Saturday. “With it, we will be able to enjoy children’s entertainment, the ‘zambombá’ by El Callejón and we are working with Father Christmas so that on the 24th he can visit our town”, Vera assured. The musical bus will travel around Mijas encouraging us to have a good time this Christmas, forget our worries and relax to start the new year off on the right foot.
