On Wednesday 14th, the Las Lagunas Theatre hosted a very international and Christmas-like musical evening. For the second consecutive year, several groups from different countries gathered to celebrate the festive season in the II International Christmas Show organised by the Department for Foreigners. Thanks to this event, attendees were able to enjoy and learn about the different Christmas traditions celebrated in several countries.

The Santa Lucia procession, originally from Sweden, and the visits by Santa and the Three Wise Men were in charge of opening the show. As expressed by the councillor for the Foreigner’s Department, Arancha López (Cs), “we are very happy to carry out this event which represents the municipality of Mijas, an international town, open to the world, where many nationalities coexist”. On stage, there was a wide variety of traditions represented. All of this with the aim of making the foreign residents in the municipality feel at home on these dates.
