The Festivities Department of the Mijas Town Hall has prepared a Christmas programme packed with every last detail.  This Saturday 10th of December will be the time for the flamenco rhythms of the ‘zambombá’. Casa Pestiño, a group formed by artists from Malaga, will be in charge of entertaining the public who come along on Saturday afternoon to the fairground in Las Lagunas with their show ‘Navidad Flamenca’. The councillor for the area, Tamara Vera (PSOE) presented the event on Wednesday the 7th. “Casa Pestiño is going to visit our municipality for the first time. We invite all our neighbours who want to listen to a flamenco ‘zambombá’ to this performance that is going to take place in the marquee installed at the fairground. It is an activity that will be completely free for all attendees”, said Vera, who recalled that in this area throughout the Christmas season there will be activities organised for the whole family.
