On December 14th, at 18 hours, the Las Lagunas Theatre will host the 2nd International Christmas Show organised by the Department for Foreigners in Mijas, which aims to preserve traditions and present them to both Spanish and international audiences. 
"It will be a show open to all nationalities, a show that also represents everything that the municipality is, a municipality that is international and open to the world", says the councillor for Foreigners, Arancha López (Cs), who sends out an "invitation to everyone who wants to enjoy the festivities, we want to welcome all the residents who wish to join us on that day to enjoy special Christmas moments".
Andalusian dances and international choirs will come together in this event. Among the performances, López highlighted "TIMS (The International Music Society), well known among the British, the German school will also accompany us with typical songs from their country and the Andalusian touch will be provided by Víctor Rojas' group with their dances as well as the outstanding performance by David Robinson".
The Department for Foreigners has also planned the procession of Santa Lucia and a visit by Father Christmas and the Three Wise Men as part of the event. After the programmed performances, the public will be able to enjoy a cocktail. The Town Hall will also facilitate travel to and from the theatre by providing two free buses that will bring attendees from La Cala and Mijas Village.
