The Fuengirola fairground hosted a new charity event organised by Suspiros de Cuatro Patas on Saturday. The nearly 140 attendees were able to enjoy a flea market and a snack but, above all, the opportunity to take home fabulous companions like Lulú, of which one of the attendees, Cecilia Martini, spoke: "Lulú was rescued a month ago and we are very happy with her, we went to meet her and we fell in love with her, it was beautiful.

‘We hope that their happiness, our greatest reward, fills your home with sighs of joy’, are the main messages that guide the association Suspiros de Cuatro Patas, a team that is committed to the welfare of pets and for which they are active in the search for help for the shelter, which, on this occasion, was a solidarity snack. "There are times when dogs arrive with ailments that are much more expensive and they need help, surgery on a leg, an allergy… so we organise all these events to raise money to help them get by until we find the right family", explains the treasurer of Suspiros de Cuatro Patas, Tamara España.

The association highlights that it was a wonderful afternoon, full of familiar faces who support their work and many rescued dogs who came to greet us. “We loved to see them so beautiful and happy”, or some who are waiting for a family like Luigi, who "was found abandoned in Mijas along with other dogs and, on this occasion, I participate in Suspiros as a foster family and he was with me for about 10 days; Collaborating with an association like this is not just about walking dogs, there is also the maintenance of the website and we have our own merchandising that we have to create", says one of its volunteers, Juanjo Ramos.
